I'm going to tell you a secret... even super heros take a day off. It's great to be ambitious, responsible and motivated to do for others BUT that doesn't mean that you have to be everything for everybody everyday.
Take off the cape and put it down.
The disclaimer to this message is that people will be concerned about you. They will wonder why you aren't saving the day, stepping up and taking care of everything as per usual. It is important for you to smile, remain calm and offer no explanations. You deserve to take a breather every now and again.
What/ who will you say no to this week? Allow yourself to be self serving and remember that you are doing a damn good job and you deserve to take a beat and a breath in peace without feeling guilt.
